Aston Martin have confirmed a number of updates to the Vantage and Rapide S, and have also revealed the exquisite DB9 GT.

For 2016, the Vantage Coupé and Roadster as well as the four-door Rapide S all receive new colours, trim choices and enhanced equipment lines. The Vantage duo receive two new paint finishes: Ultramarine Black and Cinnabar Orange and a touchscreen centre console. Both the Vantage and the Rapide S receive the AMi II infotainment system. The new DB9 GT, revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed back in June, is the most powerful ‘DB’ grand tourer till date and has now officially been launched for global markets for £140,000 (Rs 1.4 crore). It combines quality craftsmanship with scintillating performance, making for an exciting GT car like few others. The signature styling continues with the DB9 GT getting subtle styling differences like the black splitter and diffuser, tweaked head-lamp and tail-lamp clusters, ‘GT’ designation on the aluminium fuel-filler cap, and new ten-spoke 20” alloy wheels. At the heart, however, is an uprated motor.

The 6.0-litre V12 now pushes out 547 PS at 6,750 RPM with peak twist now 620 Nm at 5,500 RPM, that’s 30 PS up on its predecessor. Aston claim a sprint from 0-100 in just 4.5 seconds. The Adaptive Damping System lets one fine-tune the ride with three suspension modes to enhance comfort, sharpen its sporty side, or prep for full-on track mode.
