Audi India have introduced the third-generation TT Coupé, in 45 TFSI quattro guise, priced at Rs 60.34 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new TT Coupé brings some sharp lines and bold curves, with more power and torque dialled in for good measure. The 45 TFSI-badged motor is a 2.0-litre turbocharged, direct injection four-cylinder making 230 PS between 4,500 and 6,200 RPM with 370 Nm of torque peaking from as low as 1,600 RPM until 4,300 RPM. The six-speed twin-clutch automatic transmission drives the quattro all-wheel-drive system.
The interior boasts of a completely new layout, incorporating climate controls in the air vents, with a large wide-screen information console displaying everything from gauges to sat-nav. The 2+2 seater also offers a reasonable 305-litre boot. Refer to the April 2015 issue of Car India for the full road test.
