What happens when an already sporty hatchback gets even more sportier? Well we are surely spoilt for choices.
German car manufacturers Volkswagen have launched a new variant of their Polo hatchback called the Polo SR and the Polo hatch variant becomes even more sportier in its new avatar. The SR is loaded with an all new sporty body-kit including front, side and rear skirts, rear roof spoiler, 15-inch alloy wheels and a chrome plated exhaust tip. The new variant proudly wears its new SR badge just below the Polo name badge.
There are no significant changes to the interior of the car and the SR variant is only available in the Polo 1.2 petrol Highline trim. Volkswagen have also announced the price of the new Polo SR, priced at Rs 6.14 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is almost Rs 30,000 more than the top-spec 1.2 Polo petrol variant.
