Further strengthening the Tata Tigor range, Tata Motors have added two new AMT variants to the line-up.

Tata Motors have introduced two new automated manual transmission (AMT) variants to the Tata Tigor Range: the XMA and the XZA+. These two new trims will be priced at Rs 6.39 lakh and 7.24 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Both the new trims get the 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, Revotron petrol engine with 85 PS and 114 Nm paired with the five-speed AMT unit. It be available in all the colours that the Tigor is currently offered in – Egyptian Blue, Roman Silver, Espresso Brown, Berry Red, Pearlescent White and Titanium Grey.

The XZA+ will be the top spec automatic based on and positioned over the manual XZ+ trim. It is packed with features such as a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system equipped with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and an eight-speaker sound system by Harman. The exterior features 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and auto-fold wing-mirrors with integrated turn-indicators that complement design elements such as the coupe-like roofline and dual-chamber projector headlamps with a sparkling chrome finish. The new model also comes equipped with a fully automatic temperature control (FATC) which aims to provide uniform cooling all around the cabin, a boot space of 419 litres with wide and clear opening using an innovative four-bar mechanism and 24 intelligent spaces for carrying a lot more on the move.

Both variants offer the City and Eco drive modes, a Harman-tuned music system with Bluetooth connectivity, reverse parking sensors, folding rear arm-rest with cup-holders and 24 intelligently designed utility spaces for storage. They also come equipped with safety features such as dual-front airbags, anti-lock brakes (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution, Corner Stability Control, reverse parking sensors, speed-dependent automatic door locking and an engine immobilizer.
