With the rising competition in the SUV segment in the country, Tata Motors have significantly overhauled their offering with the new Safari Storme. The SUV now shares its platform with the Tata Aria.
The Storme’s 2.2-litre, 139-PS engine has been tweaked for better performance. The 4 X 4 variant of the Storme is also equipped with a shift-on-the-fly mechanism and a limited slip differential on board. It also features ABS as standard on all variants along with other features like dual air-bags, Bluetooth enabled audio system and reverse parking sensors, to name a few.
The Safari Storme is being offered in three variants: LX (4 X 2) at Rs 9.95 lakh, EX (4 X 2) at Rs 10.77 lakh, VX (4 X 2) at Rs 12.37 lakh and VX (4 X 4) at Rs 13.66 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, New Delhi).
