Škoda India have announced the launch of a refurbished Rapid, christened the Ultima that has made its way to showrooms since the 1st of March, and will be available in only limited numbers. So what sets this Rapid apart from the model from its origin? For starters, the visual tweaks such as an all new set of alloy wheels, and fresh decals running across the length of the car.
The Ultima has been freshened up on the inside too, with splashes of leather across the interior, and all-new floor mats and seats among other upgrades. The technology has been beefed up too, with the integration of a rear-view camera, parking sensors, and integrated satellite navigation from Tom Tom and Garmin.
The car will be available in two variants – Ambition Plus and elegance, and these variants will encompass both automatic and manual transmissions as well as petrol and diesel power plants. The price of the Ultima ranges from approximately Rs 8,33,000 up to Rs 9,98,000 (ex-showroom New Delhi).
