Curtis ’50 cent’ Jackson has been released from a hospital in New York on Tuesday morning, after the bullet-proof SUV in which he was traveling got rear-ended by a speeding Mack truck.
According to the rappers website, thisis50.com, his publicist Keesha Johnson said that the accident took place on Long Island expressway, when the driver of the Mack truck lost control after the load he was carrying shifted, causing the truck to hit the rear of the SUV with Mr. Jackson and his driver.
The 36-year-old rapper suffered minor neck and back injuries and was taken to the New York Queens Hospital, where he was treated. His driver also suffered minor injuries, both of them have now been fully recovered. 50 cent also famously survived a 2000 attack in which he was shot nine times and in 2003, had to drop his classic major-label debut ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’.
