Rai Automotive Systems (Rai Auto), engaged in sale and service of paint and body shop equipment, recently inaugurated the ‘Rai Auto Training Academy’, a training facility in Faridabad for paint and body repair programs.
The facility is spread over a total area of 4,800 sq ft, with the training floor occupying 2,000 sq ft. The facility also includes fully-equipped classrooms, office space, a pantry, a changing room, and a canteen.
The training academy will facilitate training programs on modern body shop repair procedures and applications, with the aim of ensuring better quality work and productivity through enhancing the performance and skill levels of the technical workforce. Topics to be covered include crash repairs, safety, part replacement, cutting and welding procedures, and paint refinish applications, and these will be conducted according to OEM repair standards and guidelines.
The Academy has started its first training programs in partnership with a European car manufacturer, and claims to be in the process of finalising similar programs in collaboration with other car manufacturers. The company plans to grow the program further by working with Indian and international organisations.
