Concept cars have been ruling the roost at the Paris Motor Show, with majority of the automotive heavyweights jostling it out for all the limelight in Paris.
German heavyweights Porsche who have over the years enthralled car enthusiasts with uber sportscars like the 911, Porsche 918 Spyder and Porsche Boxster, has unveiled their latest prototype in the shape of the Panamera Sport Turismo Concept.
The Panamera sports two engine variants, a 3 litre V6 engine which offers 338 PS while the hybrid module offers 96 PS with 416 of combined peak power due to which the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in below six seconds. The Panamera is 1,990 mm wide, 1,401 mm in height and is 4,950 mm in length and is capable of achieving speeds upto 130 kmph, and cover a distance of over 30 kms on pure electric mode. Being a plug in hybrid, the Panamera’s lithium ion battery can be charged while driving and can also be externally charged within 2 hours.
The Panamera is decked up in Liquid Metal Blue color, with its dual spoke design wheels sporting venomous acid green break calipers. The rear body of the concept Porsche houses slick LED rear lights along with a shiny tail panel, while its brake lights are positioned between four point LED rear lights while its roof is shaped to offer better downforce. As of now, Porsche haven’t disclosed anything regarding when this concept will ever go into production.
