The 2014 North American International Motor Show, or Detroit Motor Show as it is also called, will be held from the 13th to the 26th of January 2014. Nissan have announced that they will take the lid off of a brand new concept design in Detroit on the 13th as part of a special press conference.
This concept will be styled in the form of a sports sedan, and will make its global début in Detroit. Along with this, the Nissan IDx Freeflow and IDx NISMO concepts which first surfaced at the Tokyo Motor Show, will also make their American début here.
As of right now though, Nissan haven’t divulged too much about the car, but based on the teaser image they’ve released, the design looks very aggressive, and seem to be moving in the same direction as the new Qashqai, but with a lot more edge and bite to it.
This new concept is expected to be a foreshadow of what will be a production model that’s speculated to be targeting a 2015 launch. It is also being hinted that this car will be the natural successor to the immensely popular Maxima which is the current sporty sedan in Nissan’s stable.
