Toyota have launched the new Innova in India with a many a change of style and an all-new top-end variant.
The Toyota Innova has been the darling of the hotel and tourism industry while being equally desired by private owners and taxi operators alike. The combination of efficiency and practicality that it offers is hard to beat and it continues to be among the top-selling vehicles.
Toyota have now introduced the new car with a bold front-end, dominated by a massive front grille while the rest of the lines have maintained their conservative design. The new ‘Z’ grade at the top brings in a whole new experience with even more luxury and elegance added to an already extraordinary package. The engine under the bonnet is the renowned 2.5-litre D-4D diesel motor with 102 PS and 200 Nm, which also delivers incredible fuel economy figures for the vehicles size and segment.
Till date, more than 4,30,000 Innovas have been sold, and with the timely updates Toyota has been bringing in, this figure looks set to rise even further. The new Innova is available from Rs 12.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is available in both BS-III and BS-IV specification.
