Cheverolet India has launched an upgraded Cruze sedan today, priced between Rs 13.85 lakh – Rs 15.67 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Chevrolet has mainly worked on refinement, driveablity and fuel efficiency. The revised 2.0-litre engine now produces 166PS and 380 Nm which is 16PS and 56 Nm more than the outgoing model and claims to be a second faster from 0-100km/h, apart from being more fuel efficient. The sedan dumps the older 5-speed gearbox for a new 6-speed manual transmission, however the 6-speed automatic gear-box is carried forward even in the new version.
The interiors have also seen some tweaks and now promises to be more comfortable. The LT variant features steering mounted audio controls, six-way adjustable driver seat, 16’ alloy wheels, ABS, dual airbags and keyless entry etc. While the top-end LTZ variants get electric sun roof, all leather upholstery, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, rear parking sensors, foldable and heated outside mirrors, rain sensing wipers, cruise control, anti-glare rear view mirror and a decent music system equipped with Bluetooth connectivity.

Earlier this week Chevrolet had also launched the new Captiva SUV with an upgraded engine and refreshed styling, priced from Rs 18.74 lakh for smaller 2.0-litre engine, and Rs 24.59 lakh for the 2.2-litre variant (ex-showroom, Delhi).
