Bentley Motors have introduced the all-new Flying Spur in India. The new model was unveiled at Exclusive Motors in Delhi. It is the fastest and most powerful four-door Bentley ever made.
The new Flying Spur brings in a host of technological advancements and even more comfort and refinement than before. The new styling gives it a sleek and elegant appearance while the hand-crafted cabin only enhance the experience of cosseting luxury. The new Flying Spur offers better connectivity and infotainment with its own Wi-Fi hotspot.
Under the bonnet, the big 6.0-litre, twin-turbocharged W12 engine brings it all the motive force it needs, with an unprecedented 625 PS and 800 Nm of torque, paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and Bentley’s four-wheel drive system. This allows a sprint to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds. This performance is made possible because of the fact that the new model is even lighter, while packing in even more technology and creature comforts. The performance has been further enhanced by a new Bosch interface which has led to improved torque management, turbocharger control and low speed responsiveness, apart from better driveability and emissions performance as well. Fuel economy is rated at 6.8 km/l overall, while highway figures go up to 9.8 km/l; not bad at all for a two-and-a-half tonne luxury cabin on wheels. Suspension systems also have been tuned to offer even better single-wheel absorption. Full marks for refinement is a guarantee then.
