With the Kizashi, Maruti Suzuki move a step ahead of being the bread-and-butter car of the country and foray into the luxury car segment.
The car will come with a 2,400-cc, DOHC, 16-valve, J-engine and promises 178 PS power and 230 Nm torque. Drivers will get a choice between a six-speed manual and six-speed continuous variable transmission (CVT) gearbox. The sedan will be positioned between the Honda Accord and Civic and is expected to be priced at about Rs 20 lakh.
