Jaguar Land Rover are not a company to rest after they have witnessed a success or two.
The company has been on a roll of late with the Jaguar XF, XJ and the new Range Rover making waves globally. Having only just unveiled their F-type roadster to the world with deliveries set to commence soon, there is already word on a coupé body-type also due to be released in the near future.
The F-Type Coupé will be even lighter than the convertible model and will also feature the same engine line-up. But, there is one more surprise Jaguar has planned; apart from the supercharged V6 and V8 motors, the F-Type will also receive the 240-PS, 2.0-litre turbo-four from the Range Rover Evoque. We wouldn’t be surprised to see an all-wheel-drive V6 variant as well.
When it does arrive, it will go head-on with the Porsche 911 and even the BMW 6-series Coupé. With their pricing strategy for the F-Type Convertible being a surprise to many, it will be interesting to see how the company prices the Coupé model.
