Hyundai Venue production begins ahead of its launch on 21 May 2019 at the company’s plant in Sriperumbudur, just outside Chennai. The Hyundai Venue was earlier unveiled in April while also making its world debut at the New York International Auto Show 2019.
Hyundai opened bookings for the much-awaited Venue earlier last week and received an amazing response as they received 2,000 bookings in the first 24 hours. Company sources predict that the car will cross the 10,000 mark soon. The Hyundai Venue gets a brand new engine and the three engine variants offered will be 1.0-litre Kappa T-GDI Petrol engine, 1.2-litre Kappa Petrol and a 1.4-litre U2 CRDi Diesel. The Hyundai Venue gets its design and styling from the current Hyundai Creta and the new generation Santa Fe.
The Hyundai Venue production has started at the company’s assembly line at Sriperumbudur, which is just outside Chennai. The car will be offered in seven colours: Stardust, Denim Blue, Typhoon Silver, Deep Forest, Polar White, Fiery Red, and Lava Orange, and will also receive dual-tone colour scheme options.
The Hyundai Venue is expected to come with a warranty of three years. The Venue, said to be India’s first connected SUV, gets connectivity through an embedded SIM card giving it the ability to navigate, make emergency calls, and providing for remote access among other things. This service will be free in the warranty period of the vehicle and available in the higher spec models. The Hyundai Venue will come with a lot more features for convenience and comfort. Some of the features we know of are an electric sunroof, wireless phone charging and cruise control.
