Pagani, one of the youngest but most successful, small-volume manufacturers to emerge from Italy’s supercar valley, are now planning to enter India. The company is planning to introduce its latest model, the Huayra, in India and is looking for Indian importers who can assist it in this venture.

7-July-CI-Thu-4Named after a South American wind god, the Huayra is Pagani’s second model (after its wildly successful Zonda) in its twodecade history. When it was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show this year, it met with mixed reactions, particularly due to its oddball styling. However, over the course of time, the Huayra has won the hearts of extreme car enthusiasts all over with its performance and extreme ease of use despite all its power.

Featuring a modifi ed 5,980-cc, twinturbo, V12 AMG engine churning out 710 PS of maximum power and 1,000 Nm of peak torque, it is capable of attaining the 100 km/h mark from standstill in just 3.5 seconds and go all the way to 370 km/h. Pagani expect to sell approximately 10 units every year in India, each priced at about Rs 10 crore.
