Honda Cars India Limited, the Indian arm of the Japanese giant is all set for a major expansion in India.
Recently, the company announced that they are going to make an investment of around Rs 2500 crore in its Rajasthan plant. This will allow Honda to manufacture complete cars along with components and powertrain. The company is also going to introduce diesel model across its range of cars and the first model to get a diesel plant will be the soon to be launched Honda Amaze. Honda estimates that by next year the production of cars will begin in Rajasthan.
