I was hoping that the G 63 AMG Crazy Colour handles like a dream, but my wish wasn’t granted — the handling hasn’t changed a bit. The tall stance combined with heavyweight construction makes it quite a handful in the corners, especially when you push it hard. Body-roll was evident, though not bothersome. What was bothersome, however, was the steering wheel, which was heavy and vague. It kept me busy all the time. I only hope that Merc rectify these issues in the new G-Wagen.
Anyway, Rs 2.45 crore (OTR, Pune) is steep for an SUV that slaps practicality on its face. However, if you are really that rich and impressed by it, then the Crazy Colour G 63 AMG makes perfect sense for you. After all, it is one of the favourite cars of Hollywood celebrities. So go ahead and live that million dollar Hollywood dream.
