Mahindra at Auto Expo took the wraps off as many as four new EV concepts
Mahindra are living up to their philosophy of driving positive change. The company is addressing a larger good and trying to transform tomorrow by showcasing and working on electric cars.
At Auto Expo 2020, Mahindra have showcased four concept electric cars.
Funster
The Funster is a roadster concept with a convertible setup. It is a sports electric vehicle. Dual electric motors offer a power output of 230 kW (312.7 hp) and claims to have a top speed of 200 km/h. The Funster will also have full-time all-wheel drive (AWD)
A.T.O.M.
The A.T.O.M. is more on the lines of a commuter powered by Mahindra’s latest electric system. It has a monocoque body, spacious interiors and is 4G-ready too.
eXUV300
The third car is the eXUV300. This is an electric version of one of Mahindra’s best-selling SUVs, the XUV300. Mahindra say the eXUV300 will make the perfect mobility solution for the conscious customer while being ideal to those who desire thrill. In the eXUV300, motive force comes from a powerful motor. Mahindra claim that the motor itself is quite refined and the large battery promises long range. The eXUV300 has a futuristic design with new features and premium interiors.
eKUV100
Last but not least, the eKUV100. Mahindra have given it the title of ‘India’s most affordable SUV’.
The eKUV100 will be prefered for the daily commute to schools, offices, etc. It offers a peak power output of 40 kW and a range of 147 km.
