Alfa Romeo recently launched the MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde SBK Limited Edition car to show their support for the FIM Superbike World Championship – of which Alfa Romeo has been the sponsor for the last seven years.
Alfa Romeo also provides the official safety car for the championship and has decided to produce just 28 of this beauty and plan to sell them only in the UK.
The MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde SBK was seen earlier at the Paris Motor Show last year and features SBK decals, a racing body kit including bigger side skirts and a rear spoiler; 18-inch alloys and red-painted Brembo brake callipers. This limited edition MiTo is powered by the turbocharged 172.36 PS 1.4-litre MultiAir engine. Its interiors are draped in red-stitched Sabelt Alcantara upholstery, sports seats with carbon-fibre backs, sports pedals and a red-stitched leather covered steering wheel and gearstick.
At the launch of the limited edition MiTo SBK, precision driver Paul Swift took on superbiker Chris ‘The Stalker’ Walker in a cat-and-mouse driving dare. Check out the thrilling video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Tm0LMKyLNc
The MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde SBK Limited Edition is only available in Solid Black with an Alfa Red roof, and is priced at £21,595 (Rs. 1.8 Million).
