Home / Home / Skoda reduces discounts on all models this Diwali

skoda_logoFestive season is right here and if you were planning to book a Skoda car for your family this Diwali, then you wouldn’t be much pleased.

Skoda has announced a cut in the discounts offered on their cars, as a measure to reduce the dependence on such market practices. While their small car Fabia will now come with zero discounts, company’s other models like Rapid, Laura, Superb and Yeti will still offer a little relief in the tag, but a lesser percentage. Company might take it as a step from their end to break free off the rat-race car manufacturers indulge in to attract more customers, but the buyers- spoilt for choice under the cover of uncountable freebies and discounts from many car makers, would sure not be pleased. For instance, where Maruti Suzuki Alto comes with a heavy discount of Rs 35,000, other cars like Tata Manza and Honda City offer benefits to the customers in the form of features and goodies worth Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively. Against such exciting offers, Skoda Rapid would not come with just a token discount of Rs 10,000.

Looks like Skoda burnt their cracker a little too soon and no one really enjoyed it.
