‘avaniTV’ offers comprehensive in-car entertainment
Your favourite television show is on, but you are in transit, either stuck in traffic in your car or waiting to pick someone up.
This is a frustrating situation some of us face almost on a daily basis. Ishwar Jha and Prakash Bhalerao, a high-tech entrepreneur and venture capitalist duo, have offered a solution that seems to be catching on. They have started avaniTV Solutions Pvt Ltd for an in-car entertainment system that combines live telly channels, movies, internet videos and live radio.
The new system was launched to leverage the mobile broadband telephony-based products and services to provide entertainment and infotainment any time and anywhere. The avaniTV uses 3G/EVDO-based internet video streaming technology, which offers linear television channels, film on demand, YouTube videos and internet radio.
The firm has set up a sale and distribution network covering over 15 cities across India. With 3,370+ subscribers already enrolled, this in-car entertainment system seems to be set on the growth path.
