Visteon and 3M unveil Growth Market Car in India
Visteon and 3M recently unveiled the C-Beyond concept to the market in India. This is the second Growth Market Car collaboration between the two companies.
Visteon Company is one of the world’s hugest car producers, which specializes in the manufacturing of different automotive parts like lighting, electronics, engines and others. The company began to wholly create vehicles not long ago. C-Beyond Concept car appeared at the Paris Motor Show in 2010 and successfully combined all the knowhow gained by Visteon technologies like compact heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) unit with thinner heat exchangers that take up less room in the interior. Electronic options include a scalable instrument cluster with an electronic or mechanical integrated control panel. A customizable instrument panel can be full-size or two-thirds size, depending on the consumer’s preference. And “a rear-facing fan on the back of the centre console cost-effectively eliminates the need for separate rear-seat ducts”, the company said in a statement. Specially designed halogen front lighting “features dynamic bending for ‘seeing’ around turns.” Options from 3M include customizable interior trim, exterior paint protection, and a variety of vehicle graphics. 3M also offers lighting and audio options.
