Korea seems to be the first to get a look at the new Hyundai Elantra, also known as the Avante.
Hyundai Korea recently released a teaser image of the 2014 Hyundai Elantra. The new Elantra seems to be just a mild update instead of a complete overhauling. The facelift applied to the fifth-generation model will arrive with updated LED headlamps and tail lamps, revised bumpers and redesigned alloy wheels for the 2014 model year. From the teaser image, you’ll notice that there would a parking assist feature with an option for 90-degree side-by-side parking. With only cosmetic changes visible so far, we can only assume that the engine and other key mechanical systems will remain the same. The global release date may be announced later this year and the Elantra sedan could make its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.
