Probably one of the more exciting launches at the Geneva Motor Show was this: the turbocharged replacement for the 458. The 488 drops the screaming natural V8 for a twin-blown smaller 3.9-litre unit, with eight pots displacing 488 cc each. With 670 PS and 760 Nm of torque, it promises to be blisteringly fast, generating more output than even Ferrari’s past V12 supercars.
