ASTON MARTIN
Vantage GT3
The Vantage V12 S may be one of the most engaging V12 luxury sports cars money can buy, but what happens when it’s taken up one more notch? The Vantage GT3 answers just that question, and now runs the 5.9-litre V12 pumping out a claimed 600 PS. It’s also lighter and sticks to the road much better thanks to the upgraded aerodynamics and that massive rear wing.
DBX
Stunned silence was the ambience as Aston unveiled this: the Cross Coupé, an all-electric crossover, which looks set to address two segments in one swift action. It uses in-wheel electric motors powered by lithium-sulphur cells, eliminating the need for an engine compartment. Not only does it look fantastic — and every bit an Aston Martin — but it also reminds us that even a legendary marque needs to look into sustainable mobility going forward as seriously as any.
Vulcan
At the other end of the stable is the most extreme Aston likely to see production since the absolutely stunning One-77. The track-only Vulcan is the latest to surface and sports a V12 displacing seven litres but producing over 800 PS. We sure hope to see them make a road-going version too.
