We pick up from where we left off on the previous leg of this journey: Kolkata. We take a quick spin around the southern bit of the Golden Quadrilateral before finishing off in Pune

Puchka! That was my first thought as I woke up and got ready to explore Kolkata. I wanted to have puchka. I think that says a lot about me, but, hey, when in Rome… and all that. Anyway, off we went in search of adventure, intrigue…and puchka.
The Fortuner was gleaming after an early morning wash, though it didn’t stay that way for long because it was pouring cats and dogs in Kolkata. Our first stop was Victoria Memorial and Sri Aurobindo’s statue adjacent to it. Next we visited the iconic Eden Gardens (the actual park) and followed that up with a visit to the coliseum for cricket that derives its name from said park.
