Company confirms use of hybrid technology to reduce carbon footprint
Ferrari, the legendary italian makers of sportscars, recently confirmed that the company would adopt hybrid technology for its future range of V12 engines in order to reduce CO2 output without compromising engine layout.
Ferrari head, Amedeo Felisa, recently spoke to the press about the company’s plans to introduce hybrid systems that would not only create power, but would also conserve energy. He did not divulge the details of the introduction of such systems, but said that such a system would come as standard instead of as an option. He also talked about adopting six-cylinder engines in the future, which would further help in reducing CO2 output from the future prancing Horse models.
