Mahindra has launched a new four-door version of the e2o electric car with prices beginning at Rs 5.46 lakh (ex-Delhi).
Mahindra are leading the charge (pardon the pun) in the electric car segment, and they have taken another big stride forward with the launch of their four-door electric hatch called the e2o Plus. While visuals echo the e2o, it is stretched out with room for four, and is now powered by two electric motor options.
The P4 and P6 variants get a 48V battery producing a 25.8 PS equivalent 19 kW and churns out 70 Nm of torque, while the top of the line P8 variant gets a 72V powerplant creating 30 kW or 40.8 PS equivalent, with 91 Nm of twist on the tap. In terms of range that is 110 km on a full charge for the former, and 140 km for the latter. The former hits a top speed of 80 km/h, does 0-60 in a 14.1 seconds and takes 6 hours to charge. The latter gets to full charge in 9 hours, to 60 km/h in 9.5 seconds, and tops out at 85 km/h. All the aforementioned figures are manufacturer claimed.
Expect the prices to rise significantly across the range in other states though, because the FAME incentive is restricted to the NCR. Here is a Mumbai-Delhi comparative pricing for your reference:

P6 Rs 7.42 lakh Rs 5.95 lakh
