Renault India announced the inauguration of its 164th dealership in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Bruno Lops, Head of Sales and Network, Renault India. The new dealership, Dharti Motors is spread over an area of 25,000 sq.ft and has a display area for five cars along with a 10-bay service area. The service centre also has a paint booth, body shop and wheel alignment facilities. The dealership in Jamnagar is the 44th in western India.
Commenting on the inauguration, Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India Operations said, “We have a clear focus on growing the Renault brand in India, and expanding our network presence is imperative to achieve this objective. We are working towards making our products and services more accessible across the country, with an equal focus on growing our presence in metros, as in the hinterlands of India. The launch of our dealership in Jamnagar today showcases this intent, and we look forward to extending our presence in this important market.”
The company is undertaking aggressive expansion plans, and has targeted a 280 dealership-network by next year.
