On the inside, you are aware of two different kinds of quality at work simultaneously. The top half of the dashboard, which is finished with a combination of dark grey and piano black plastic, looks and feels good. The bottom half of the dash, however, which is finished in a light grey plastic, leaves behind the impression that it’s been built to a cost. Nonetheless, the spacious cabin is fairly practical with generous amounts of cubbyholes having been provided. A foldable hook that can hold a small bag of groceries to the left of the centre console is a neat touch.
The seats, though comfortable, could do with more support, especially thigh support. A nice touch to the interior is the way the door pops open the moment you pull the well-finished chrome door latch – particularly useful for elderly people or children. Instrumentation is a standard two-pod affair. The 242-litre boot, too, has been packaged well with all the unusable spaces now covered with carpet cladding.
