2015 Porsche Boxter GTS web 4

The stopping power is provided by a dual-circuit brake system with separate circuits for front and rear. The GTS is equipped with four-piston monobloc callipers with 330-mm ventilated disc rotors at the front and the rear also has four-piston monobloc callipers with 299-mm ventilated disc rotors.

It was just the kind of day you would want when you are about to take a two-seater convertible sports car for a spin around the Island. It was a bright and sunny day and the temperature in the high twenties. The Island has a mix of motorway and some interesting country roads. It was a real pleasure to drive this two-seater sports car on the road. Thanks to its good ride quality and sharp handling one could throw it around corners with a lot of confidence. There were a couple of long tunnels and to enjoy the sound further you have to push the binocular switch on the centre console to open the exhaust flaps so you can hear the flat six sing in all its glory. (The exhaust flap switch looks like a pair of binoculars.)

It is always a special feeling and a pleasure to drive a two-seater convertible sports car with the wind in your hair. The Boxster GTS gives all the excitement and pleasure that you expect from a sports car.
