Lamborghini are all set to amaze the automobile world yet again with a new supercar offering for the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Lamborghini Cabrera, a re-incarnation of their popular Gallardo has been caught testing again. The company’s engineers are working overtime to complete the development of the Gallardo’s successor. Company officials at Lamborghini have stated that the Cabrera will make an appearance at September’s Frankfurt Motor Show, but only as a concept.
The Cabrera is more likely to feature an evolution of the Gallardo’s 5.2-liter V10 engine, which has been rumoured to produce around 600 PS. We also expect loads of carbon fibre, with the company learning valuable weight-saving lessons from the Sesto Elemento limited production model. The automaker will put this experience to good use with the Cabrera.
Many of you will be aware that we had first carried the news of the Lamborghini Cabrera in our July issue and with the car being tested, we can’t wait to see the finished concept.
