General Motors India had announced their new MUV the ‘Enjoy’ at the 2012 Auto Expo
in January and it won’t be long before the company unveils it as the initial trial production has already started at the company’s Halol Plant in Gujarat. Apparently, the Halol plant is producing around 40 cars a month both with petrol and diesel engines. Full fledged production is all set to start from December 2012 and the Enjoy is expected to hit the showrooms in March 2013. The Enjoy is the result of a joint venture between GM and SAIC motors of China. Looking at the growth of the MUV segment, it seems that GM is eager to launch the Enjoy as soon as possible to cash in on the growing demand.
