M&M have added an entry-level Scorpio Ex to their product line-up.
The Scorpio Ex churns out 75 bhp and 220 Nm and is a driven by the 2.5-litre DiCOR engine. The Scorpio Ex claims a fuel-efficiency of 14 km per litre and is BS-IV compliant. It is equipped with a start-stop system, which is a fuel-saving feature and is called the ‘micro hybrid technology’. The changes include a chunky new front bumper and sober ORVMs. The Scorpio Ex is attractively priced at Rs. 7.21 lakhs (ex-showroom-Pune, for BSIV version)
