Apart from the piano black centre console, multi-function steering and leather upholstery, the XV now has a reversing camera. The biggest advantage the Sunny has over its rivals is the leg-room for the rear passengers. In fact, it is comparable to some of the luxury cars that are two or three segments above this car.
The Sunny has never been a driver’s car; it is all about the rear passengers. It has a good ride quality and NVH levels. The CVT transmission is good when you are cruising along and is very convenient for city driving. The minute you put the pedal to the metal, it feels like an elastic rubber-band.
The diesel engine has good driveability and one does not have to shift gears frequently. The only negative part is that the oil-burner is quite vocal.
If you want a chauffeur-driven car with a good amount of leg-room, then the Sunny is the car for you.
