I would like to thank all our readers for supporting us for all these years. I would also like to thank all the manufacturers and everybody from the automobile industry for their support. In keeping with our annual tradition we bring you some very special stories in this 10th anniversary issue such as 10,000 kilometres in 10 days. As Toyota prepare to bring the Lexus brand to India, we are the fi rst to drive the Lexus LS 600h L AWD on Indian soil. We also have an exclusive drive of the Audi R8 V10 plus and an in-depth road test of the all-new Hyundai Creta.
I would like to thank the marketing team of Car India for all the hard work. I also want to thank and congratulate the entire editorial team and especially the designers as they toil behind the scene and never get a mention or credit for their hard work. Without them it would not be possible to bring out this magazine every month.
In January this year I rode the Ducati 1299 Panigale at the Portimão circuit in Portugal and it was very demanding. It does 0 to 100 km/h in two seconds and 0 to 200 km/h in less than eight seconds as compared to the 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and 0 to 200 km/h in less than 10 seconds of the R8. Sitting inside a car and driving it is much easier than riding a motorcycle.
