McLaren retailers to offer to offer a pure electric McLaren P1 with a central driving position and open-roof configuration which rushes from a stand-still to its maximum speed in just two seconds, in the most compact car to wear a McLaren badge yet.
McLaren Automotive has already revealed that one of their key strategies is the development of Pure Electric Vehicles (EV) to one day sit in its product portfolio. Meanwhile a Pure EV based on the McLaren P1 which features McLaren’s signature dihedral doors. And like every McLaren, its acceleration is startling going from a stand-still to its maximum speed of just under 5 km/h in two seconds.
The diminutive McLaren P1 differs from its larger petrol-powered sibling in two key areas. Firstly, it has a central driving position like a McLaren F1. And secondly, the young can now experience what adults never could : an open-top McLaren P1.
The McLaren P1 is now available at select retailers around the globe and will be offered to a limited group of potential customers. Those under the age of six, at least that’s the official guidance. Although young drivers beyond that age might also fit in it. That said, if you fit go for it.
