Ford India have finally launched the new Aston Martin Fiesta, with a turbo-diesel motor and a price tag starting from Rs 7.69 lakh (ex-Delhi).
The new Ford Fiesta has received a significant new face reminiscent of a British luxury sport brand that was under the company’s wing not too long ago, and it’s a good thing. The new car looks sharp and purposeful and the design speaks of the driving dynamics every Ford is simply supposed to be born with.
Other than the look, the equipment list gets a rework and Ford India have just three variants – Ambiente, Trend and Titanium – all of which have ABS and a driver airbag as standard. Apart from the base Ambiente, the other two also receive dual front airbags and an audio system with a number of connectivity options. The top-end Titanium also gets voice control and alloy wheels, among other goodies.
The engine bringing the force continues to be the 1.5-litre TDCi turbo-diesel four-cylinder motor with 91 PS and 204 Nm of torque, paired to the five-speed manual transmission. For now, there is no petrol or automatic model in the cards. The ex-showroom Delhi prices for the new car are as follows:
> 1.5 TDCi Ambiente: Rs 7.69 lakh
> 1.5 TDCi Trend: Rs 8.56 lakh
> 1.5 TDCi Titanium: Rs 9.29 lakh
