Shell announced the launch of its premium fuel, V-Power today. Shell V-Power petrol has a double action formulation designed to clean the engine and protect its vital parts. The fuel will be available across all outlets in metropolitan cities such as Bengaluru, Mysore, Chennai, Ahemedabad, Rajkot, Baroda, Surat and Pune. The compounds used in V-Power are a 99% match to those used in the V-Power race fuel developed by Scuderia Ferrari and Shell and used in Ferrari’s Formula1 cars.
Commenting on the launch, Ravi Sundararajan, GM, Shell Retail India said, “We are delighted to bring Shell V-Power to India, a globally acknowledged and successful fuel which has already marked its presence in 67 countries around the world. The advanced technology of Shell V-Power is designed to enhance the responsiveness of the engine by aiding it in performing to its potential. Our customers have appreciated the quality of fuels at Shell, and V-Power will replace the existing Shell Super brand of premium petrol.”
