Maruti Suzuki have initiated a voluntary recall for the Alto 800 and the Alto K10 to address a technical glitch related to the right hand door-latch assembly. A total of 33,098 vehicles produced between December 2014 and February 2015 have been affected (19,780 units of the 800 and 13,318 units of the K10).
Dealerships across the country will be contacting customers about the fault and will carry out corrective action free of charge. Alternatively, customers may also check if their vehicle has been affected on the company website, or consult their local dealership to check if their vehicle will be affected.
