Honda India recently launched the CNG-ready Amaze last month, and the move to do so is has turned out to be quite beneficial for the Japanese marque. The manufacturer has registered a year-on-year sales growth of 16% and sold 16,902 units in comparison to 14,543 last February. The success of the Amaze is evident in the sales break-up. Of the total 16,902, the company sold 7,163 units of the Amaze, which accounts for 42% of the total sales.
In addition to this, Honda India has also upped its exports and has sold 1,119 units in the international markets. The move to launch a CNG Amaze couldn’t have been timed better and with rumours of an updated Jazz being imminent, one can expect Honda to continue on this upward trend.
