McLaren Automotive are on a model offensive, and the 570S will be the latest assault on the performance segment.
The British marque announced the new 570S – which packs 570 PS from its 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 – as the first model in its Sports Series. The new hierarchy will see the Sports Series positioned below the Super Series (650S Coupé, 650S Spider and 675LT) and the Ultimate Series, which includes the P1 and P1 GTR. The company also has the 625C in certain markets. The new 570S will be the entry-model into the expanding McLaren club.
The 570S will be unveiled at the 115th New York International Auto Show in April.
