The recently launched hatchback from Renault – the Kwid has crossed the 50,000 bookings benchmark. What is interesting is all the bookings were made in less than a month of its official launch.

The Kwid was launched in September this year, and was priced extremely competitively with a starting price of Rs 2.56 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The company has been expanding its base in the country from 14 sales and service centres in 2011 to 180 facilities currently across the country.
