Jay Leno gets his very own one-lakh car!
As most of our readers know, Jay Leno, the famous host of ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’, is an avid car and motorcycle buff. His garage includes 100 cars and 90 motorcycles including a Royal Enfield. And now, the latest vehicle to join this garage is not a hyper-exotic Italian thoroughbred supercar or even German or Japanese but our very own Tata Nano. We can surely say that The Tata Nano is indeed going places. The Tata Nano he has bought is in pure white and features a special graphic Indian tri-colour on it.
Jay Leno was all decked up in a traditional “sherwani” to greet the Nano into his garage. He was cheeky enough to rope in some Bollywood dancers to perform at the time of the Nano entering his garage. Leno who also writes about cars for the Sunday Times will be giving his opinion on the Tata Nano soon. He also has a Smart car in his collection and indeed we are eagerly excited to see if he draws some sort of comparison with the Nano.
Could Tata Motors have gifted it to him? There is no better publicity than celebrity endorsement and Jay Leno taking to the Nano was indeed quite a surprise. As of now we will have to wait and watch to check if Leno actually drives the Nano or just parks the vehicle in his garage.
