BMW launched the all new BMW 3 series in the country at the hands of Sachin Tendulkar in an exclusive event in Mumbai.
The all new 3 series is produced as a CKD unit at BMW’s plant in Chennai and will be available in two trims,Sport Line and Luxury Line. The car will be also available in diesel (320d) and petrol (328i) variants.
With larger dimensions of length (+93 mm), wheelbase (+50 mm) than its previous version, rear seat passengers can now enjoy extra legroom in the 3 series. The luggage compartment has been increased by 20 liters to a total of 480 liters now. The new version also incorporates the new on-board Driver Information System while BMW’s proprietary iDrive with an 6.5 inch high-resolution display comes as standard. The colors available on the 3 series are Alpine White, Melbourne Red, Black Sapphire, Glacier Silver, Havanna, Imperial Blue Brilliant Effect and Mineral Grey.
