The Audi Group – treading on its path to success, have achieved another milestone. It has been just been nine months and the group has increased its deliveries by 10% to a total of 1.3 million (13 lakh) units of automobiles delivered to customers world wide. This result of the increase in demand, helped Audi Group to generate a revenue of 39.3 billion pounds (Rs 383 crore) and operating profit of 3.8 billion pounds (Rs 29 crore), with a 9.7 percent return on sales.
Commenting on the feat achieved by the Audi Group, Axel Strotbek, Board Member Finance and Organisation, stated, “Audi is steadily continuing along its growth path while increasing its advance expenditure for new models and technologies. This development shows that Audi is making good progress despite growing challenges in some markets”.
