Infiniti are all set to officially introduce their G coupe and sedan version sports car at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

Infiniti have promised their loyalists and other car buffs alike that the new G will be a much more sportier and dynamic looking ride than its predecessor. The G is closely based on the Mercedes Benz C class, as you all will be aware of the partnership of Daimler and Nissan. Infiniti will continue to offer a coupe and a sedan version, and also a new version of the company’s VQ V-6 engine with direct fuel injection for the performance oriented buyer. Also, a 2.1-litre turbodiesel and a V-6 hybrid power train versions will be offered. The diesel, however, is unlikely to be sold in Japan and the U.S., where oil-burners are traditionally unpopular. Infiniti also have future plans to introduce a “Super G” which will be based on the Nissan GT-R. The pricing is expected to be around $1,00,000 (INR 56,00,000 approx).
